Megan Johnson Judd has been appraising properties in Central Florida for over 24 years. A court appointed expert, and having managed her own appraisal firm since 2001, she is experienced in performing all types of appraisals on all types of residential properties. Currently, Megan is a Candidate for Designation with the Appraisal Institute, seeking her SRA Designation.
Whether Megan is instructing seminars on appraisal practice to area real estate sales agents, speaking to local organizations or testifying in court as an expert witness, her professionalism and knowledge are supported with confidence.
Megan was born in Orlando, has been a lifelong resident and attended UCF from 1990-1994. Megan has three children, 15, 14, and 12 and enjoys spending time with her family at the beach or “roughing it” in her 1975 Airstream Overlander. Megan spent years as an active member of her children’s school PTA organizations and the Nils M. Schweizer Central Florida Modern Club. She recently worked with the Come Out With Pride-Orlando and Devereux of Florida organizations including organizing the Retro BBQ Benefit to raise money for Devereux Florida.
Megan is the author of several essays and presentations including “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of Residential Appraisal Reports” and “Understanding the Appraisal Process and How it Relates to Lending Today“. She has spoken before the Orange County Bar Association and at various private functions. Most recently, Megan instructed 3 informational courses at the Orlando Regional Realtor Association.
